Founded in 1987 , in the past, it was part of the television circuit Italia 7 , then Europa 7 . In 2003 , it became affiliated with 7 Gold , to then move on to the Odeon TV circuit, to which it remained linked until 4 July 2010 .</p><p style="font-size: 14.4px;">It has 35 repeaters that cover the entire Campania region, lower Lazio and part of the province of Foggia . Canale 8 was the first television broadcaster in Italy to be authorized to experiment with digital terrestrial television. Furthermore , since the first half of 2013, it has been broadcasting in 16: 9 . It is visible on digital terrestrial on the UHF 27 frequency .</p>
